Waskesiu

Image
Waskesiu offers something for everyone, including calm treks in the northern forested areas and lake experiences with your preferred water activities. The possibilities for exploration and play are endless. A day on one of Saskatchewan's best golf courses, fun on the beach, and the warmth of an evening lake sunset. If you want to make your winter season memorable, visit Bakers Bungalows. Waskesiu Lake is the most extensive lake in the park, with a range of recreational amenities on all sides of its coastline, including two public campgrounds: Beaver Glen and Red Deer. The lake features one archipelago off its western side known as King Island (originally Devil's Island), named after park creator William Lyon Mackenzie King. Bakers Bungalow's freshly remodelled, snug cabins keep the rustic atmosphere of camping while giving all modern pleasures such as internet, A/C, and other facilities.
